Cycle path

Joined: 07 May 2012 Posts: 2 Bike: | I live in Manchester city centre and work in Winton/Monton and at the moment am using public transport to get to/from work, which at times can take me over an hour. So I was wondering if it is possible to cycle along the canal (Bridgewater Canal?) from the city centre to Monton? Thanks for any help you can provide. |

Joined: 15 Dec 2012 Posts: 5 Bike: My Profile | Perfectly possible on a hybrid or MTB. it gets a little iffey trough trafford and in really bad weather be careful as it may be more than rain getting you wet, but in general it's a nice ride only bit on the road it Barton Swing Bridge. Enjoy! |
