Safe 100k cycle route to do with my 10 year old

Joined: 19 Aug 2012 Posts: 5 Bike: | My 10 year old son wants to do a 100k ride for charity. We are going to do 50k one afternoon and then another 50k the following morning. He has a road bike (as I do). Does anyone know a safe route we could take on a road bike which would suit his plans? We live in South West Manchester (Chorlton) and don't want to travel very far to start the cycle. |

Joined: 05 Mar 2012 Posts: 1 Bike: | Mancqueen, have a look at the Wythenshawe Loop ride in the listings. A friend of mine has done it as part of the Manchester 100 and says the route is quite quiet along lanes through Nantwich and Middlewich. |
