Cycle Steps
Start and finish at Alfriston clergy House go along South Downs Way (SDW) towards Firle Beacon and then at Firle car park turn left to head for Norton and Bishopstone. This passes through a farm. Some of this route is on quiet roads which are safe but be alert. Then you head to Seaford Blatchington GC, You can go through the Golf Club keeping to the paths or go on the concrete path which is traffic free they meet at the other side of the Golf course. Head back to the SDW, you will know when you get there and turn right back towards Alfriston. After you have passed through the last gate before going down into the village turn left and go down the chalk path and this will take you to the northern side of the village. Travel on the road, turn right at the main road junction and after 100 yards turn left go straight on and at the T junction there is a sign back onto the SDW. Some hard work here up to the longman of wilmington but after this it is down hill all the way and happy refreshments.
