Cycle Steps
A circular route through some beautiful Hertfordshire countryside on mainly quiet country lanes. There is a short off-road section via a farm track and footpath between Rushden and Green End. There are a few hills but nothing too taxing and some good downhill stretches too, especially the final run back into Baldock.

There are a few good pubs en-route, The Fox & Duck in Therfield is a good place to stop for refreshments. While not a particularly cosy pub, it does do good food and has benches outside on the green, which is good when the weather is fine. The Old White Horse in Station Road, Baldock does very good lunches and has a nice garden if you prefer to stop for lunch at the end of the ride.

Did the ride on Sunday in beautiful sunny weather (hottest day of the year so far!) and the scenery was simply stunning - a great ride.
