Cycle Steps
Make your way south down Church Lane in Barnburgh and turn left at the bottom into Doncaster Road. Follow this to the Crown pub and turn right up Ludwell Hill and into High Melton. Past the college, take a left into Sheep Lane, heading towards Cusworth. When you reach the juction with Spring Lane take a right and follow the road into Sprotborough. Cross the road near the Ivanhoe Pub, then follow the road towards the Church. Turn left at the Spar shop and head down the hill towards the river. Go across the bridges and up Mill Lane towards Warmsworth lights. At the lights take a right into the A630 and head towards Conisborough. Stay on the A630 until you come to the lights, take a right onto Low Road and an immediate left into New Hill Road. Follow this up and round to the right into the High Street and take a left at the junction for Church Street. Follow this road as it becomes Old Road and continue on it until you see Pennie View School on your right. Take the right turn into Hill Top Road. Follow this all the way to the roundabout near the Netto supermarket where you take a left onto Doncaster Road. Go over the bridge until you reach the traffic lights at the Pastures Road junction. Take the right turn into Pastures Road, passing the Pastures Lodge Public House on your right. Follow this road which merges into Melton Mill Lane to the left. Contiue on this road up to the fork junction, where you take a left back into Ludwell Hill. You are now heading back towards the Crown Pub, passing it on your left. Stay on this road as it turns into Doncaster Road and goes into Barnburgh towards the church. Passing the church, continue on the same road as it becomes Barnburgh Lane, heading out of Barnburgh towards Goldthorpe. Taka the left turn off at Green Lane, which merges into Westfield Lane. Follow this round till you reach the junction for Hollowgate and take a left up the hill. This takes your right back onto Church Lane. Turn right and pass Barnburgh School on your left and you are right back at the start point.
