|Cotswold Edge 8 Hills Challenge. Very hilly scenic roller coaster ride along the edge of the Cotswold hills, 4 major climbs out and the reverse ascents/descents back. Take plenty of fluids and food as you will sweat and burn some serious calories, best time of year is June-September.
Experienced riders only, mainly quiet roads, care needed on descents.
Enjoy warm up before the first climb out of Mickleton.
Major climbs/descents inc Dovers hill, Saintbury, Willersey, Snowshill (50+mph)and a short section of the Fish.
Check brakes are tip top for the descents.
Estimated ride time between 4-7hrs, forget the distance, these climbs take thier toll.
Advisable gearing 50/25
Should you find the going too tough there is an alternative route along the base of the Cotswolds linking the climbs.

|Enjoy the scenic and panoramic views as you pass through the delightfull Cotswold villages of Willersy, Broadway, Snowshill where Bridget Jones was filmed. The half way point is the cafe at Hailes Abbey fruit farm, alternatively continue the descent of Stanway to the convienience store and pub on the roundabout.
