|This is a road route that takes you through some lovely counrtyside, with some awesome views. It also has a good variety of hills up and down, making it a good route for the keen cyclist. There are not many places to refuel, apart from pubs, and these depend on the time of day you are cycling. So you would need to carry fuel and water. This is a route I do quite often, and although I do not stop, there are places to stop and take in the views. You also need to take care just on the back of Theydon Bois, where there is a low bridge which goes into one lane and down hill. Apart from this its all quite clear and not a lot of traffic.
