|This is a mixed road and off road route that my brother and I created to complete before our Sunday Roast Beef and Tatties.
It has some excellent views, with a few short tough hills for the casual cyclist. Mountain Bikes are fine, but I would only recommend hybrid style road bikes with a bit of grip in their tyres. The last section can be really tough when it rains. There is a good refreshment stop in Wortley. The route also goes past the "Professional" mountain bike circuit in Grenoside Woods, which you could tag onto the route, if you are brave enough!

|This route looks great, I think I might have to give it a go. I have done sections of it on my own routes from the Kimberworth/Wentworth side and been through greno woods but never this exact route.|

|Great workout route, but probably more for a roadie type of XC as mentioned by the poster.|
Be careful in the end of the loop as its easy to get lost in the housing estate towards the end. Some great views in the first half approaching Wortley.
