Cycle Steps
Leaving Crondall Village Hall car park turn left. Continue to follow this lane for about 1/2 mile. The lane makes sharp right hand bend at the bottom of a small hill - beware of approaching vehicles as it is a blind corner.
At the junction turn left up the hill signposted 'Well'. After approx 200 yards take the first right .
Almost immediately you will see the road forks. Take the right hand fork and following the road ahead. There is another sharp right at the bottom of a hill.
Passing Penn Croft Farm on your left continue along the lane for approx 1 mile. At this end of this you will reach a small triangle junction.
Take a right at the junction on to a slightly busier road (Hyde Lane) that you have been on so far. As you come down the small hill make a right turn into Pankridge Street, signposted Crondall opposite some bottle banks.
Follow this road for about 1/4 mile. As you come into the village you will pass a red phone box on your left which is followed almost immediately by Redlands Lane. Turn left here.
Follow this lane to end - about 1/2 mile. You will be climbing steadily here and you will do well if you don't have to stop for a breather and to admire the view of the North Downs. At the end of this road is a major road junction - TAKE CARE.
Turning right onto the A287 keep to the footpath as you will not be on this road long. Make a turn at the next right - signposted Doras Green.
This is another great viewing spot to look out across the country side and the valley that Crondall lies in. Continue over the cross roads. And follow the road ahead for about 1 mile. This is a nice fast section mostly downhill.
At the next junction turn right onto Crondall Lane. At this point you are actually right on the Surrey/Hampshire border.
Follow this road for about 1 1/2 miles passing farmland and Clare Park Hospital on your left.
After passing a large grey building on your left with signs saying 'Old Crondall Village Stores' take the left immediately after - Croft Lane.
When you come to the church you will see the road bends to the right. Take the turn to the left that lies on this bend. You will see the Village Hall Car Park 50 yards on your right.
