|This is intended to be an easy and reasonably flat route for occasional social cyclists. Apart from a 500yard mild climb out of the village of Croscombe, the ride is primarily across the Somerset Levels and back via the city of Wells.|

|The ride takes in views of Glastonbury tor from abpove and on the Levels. An abundance of wild life will be found on the Levels including herons, little egret, buzzards, hawks etc. The return leg skirts Wells Cathedral and the Bishop's Palace. |A good route from the pub, with a little challenge at the start and steady cycling and viewing on the levels. A stop in Wells for visitors gives an opportunnity for non-nature site seeing, which appeals to those from outside the area. this could be a family ride too, though young children, say under 10, would slow things up considerably.|
Othewise it is a very pleasant and safe route for easy cycling.
