Cycle Steps
Starting in Dalton, its a fairly easy, flat or mainly downhill ride through lanes towards and after Leece. There is however, one fairly steep hill just before Leece. Please note that the lanes are narrow, so watch out for tractors, etc.
At the A5087 junction, turn left and follow the Coast Road towards Bardsea. There are a few steep hills on Coast Road, plus it can be very windy on at times.
At Bardsea, turn left for a fairly flat ride along Red Lane, passing the Ulverston Golf Club, and Green Lane towards the A590. Turn left onto the A590 for a relatively flat ride to the Dalton/Lindal roundabout, however, the traffic can get heavy on this piece of road. Turn left into Dalton down Ulverston Road. Turn left onto Market Street and follow it to where it joins Station Road. This is virtually all downhill.
Loop can be repeated.
