| The route is very self explanatory from the satellite view. Comprising canal tow path of various degrees of surface, roads and some bridleway. Warning, the bridleway from the end of Coal Pit Lane, Wolvey to Mere Lane is at time impassible - I ended up calf-deep in mud and shredded by brambles. suggest keep off the bridleway and keep the tree line to your immediate left. No particular long ascents but some great long donwhill stretches. Cycle the route clockwise. |
