Cycle Steps
Back roads and Bridleways around Garforth, Colton, through Temple Newsam, around Swillington, through Great Preston and following the disused railway back to Garforth. Reasonably easy, only one hill to climb, gets more difficult the wetter the paths are!
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Bike shop on Garforth Main Street at begining of route

Not a bad route, but a bit spoilt by gates and stiles that tend to slow your progress and interrupt your flow.

Good for a beginner (as testified by my Wife!).
It's best to take a map with you (print the one from this site) as some of the route is not obvious. We tried the ride without and very quickly got lost and then tried it again this weekend with a map; much better.
