| This is a road route that only has one small section of A road at Marston. The rest is on quiet country roads or B roads. Running the route as described below produces a hilly section at the beginning and again in the middle. This route heads out of Hartshill towards Galley Common and Ansley. You then head for Astley and the M6. Go over the M6 to Corley and take Church Lane towards the B4102, and go back under the M6. Take a left off the B4102 towards Maxstoke. Go through Maxstoke and head for Shustoke. At the B4114 junction do a left and then a right into Waverley Lane and head for Marston. Turn right onto the A4097 at the roundabout, then take the B4098 turn off at the next large roundabout. Follow the B4098 until the left hand turn off for Hurley. After Hurley, head for Baxterley, Bentley and finally, back to Hatshill. |
