Cycle Steps
Taking in the Colne Valley, leading up over Pule Hill with a long 3 mile climb the other side of Marsden up to cross the Lancashire border, then dropping down to Delph and then up a gentle climb to Denshaw. From here, you head East back past a couple of reservoirs before a steep climb up onto the top road looking back across Marsden and the Colne Valley as you make a fast return to Pole Moor. Then the very fast decent back down to Slaithwaite - it's up to you how brave you're feeling but I've clipped 57mph on the drop down after Wilberlee School and a nasty left turn - it's either brave or brake pads!
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
Landmarks include Pule Hill above Marsden and the beautiful views of the Colne Valley - tea shops in Slaithwaite and Marsden.
