Cycle Steps
This is a road route, mainly on A and country roads, with climbs in the early part of the route.
The route has something of a tricky start, with Snaky Hill then Devil's Dyke straight after, but if you can clear that the rest of the route shouldn't really be a problem.
The route heads out of Hove on the A2023 and A2038 and across the A27. Its then country road, on Devil's Dyke Road, up past the golf Club. Turn off right to go through Saddlescombe up past Poynings to the A281. Follow the A281 through Woodmancote to Henfield. You then turn left onto the A2037 and go through Small Dole and into Upper Beeding. You then take country roads that skirt the edge of Steyning and go down through Coombes and past Shoreham Airport. You then follow the A259 along the coast back to the start point.
