|I believe this has a steep climb across the centre of Arran, and this is also a slightly longer route to allow it to take in Kilbrannan Sound, where you can see deer, seals & many birds.|

|I used to live on Arran and indeed this route would have quite a steep climb just as you leave Brodick at the beginning.|
Once you drop down to the coast the road North undulates quite a bit so expect some short sharp climbs and short fun descents.
Absolutely fantastic views and great wildlife/scenery.
