|This is a long route for us as this was the first training we had done for John O'Groats to Lands End.
Some of the route is on the national cycle route 3 (look at Sustrans website for more info.)
This is an improved route that avoids a very long climb out of Bodmin that lies at the bottom of a valley. We cycled this way on our way out, and it included lots of hills that seemed a lot more up than down. We found that this route went between most of the hills and only over one, just before Exebridge, that we had to push our bikes up.
Very enjoyable cycle, with enough places to stop to fill up on water and food, which we found was needed in far greater quantities than expected.

|Taunton, Wiveliscombe, South Molton were all big places on route.
The bridge and river at Exebridge offered some nice views, along with some of the hill tops with great views of the vallys below.
