Cycle Steps
This is a road route, mainly on North Yorkshire Moor roads, that has some nice climbs and long undulating straights.
Hutton le Hole and the Lion Inn, Blakey Ridge provide good stopping places, and there are amazing views south to the Yorkshire Wolds and east to the North Sea. Although warm at low level, it can become cold and windy on top, so be prepared. The estimated elevation is between 50 and 350m.
Although it's possible to take a variety of N/S roads, from Bilsdale in the west to Rosedale in the east, by moortop or valley as you like, you should beware, as there are some long dead-ends, which can be frustrating.
