|This route was only my second time out on my new bike, I am not fit and a bit overweight and I found this route challenging but very rewarding.
I travelled anti-clockwise around the route, thereby reducing the number of right turns. There are plenty of differing gradients some quite steep and quick/slow depending on how fit/unfit you are (slow for me!). Avoids main A roads other than small sections on A30 and A343 and the roads are quiet and there is plenty of nice views.
Total distance is 17.5 Miles and starts and ends at a nice quiet village pub.

|During the route you pass by the Danebury Hill Fort, where I am led to believe there is an off road cycle route.
