Cycle Steps
Starting at the Abbey Leisure Centre the route takes you down the A167 to Chester-Le-Street. Passing the Emirates Durham ICG, Home of Durham Cricket, the route takes you towards Great Lumley until you take a cut under the A1 and onto the A183. Carrying on through Shiney Row the route eventually takes you to the bottom of the hill of which Penshaw Monument stands. Then the route follows the same path back, through Shiney Row and under the A1. Then it branches off, making its way past Great Lumley and following Cocken Rd. It finally makes its way back into Newton Hall passing the Newton Grange Pub and back to the Abbey Leisure Centre.
