|Peasley cross to Fingerpost picking up A58 towards Ashton. Turn left onto Tithebarn road to Garswood then follow road to Billinge, this is a long uphill stretch that while it's not that steep is a bit of challeneg for the less fit (ME!). Turn left into Billinge at the Stork and follow road downhill. Straight across the mini roundabout toward Rainford.Follow the road to Redcat lane and turn right then left at Kings Moss.
Keep on uphill till Long lane and then turn left
toward Crawford. SOme really nice views coming down this road as you free wheel downhill!
As you come into Rainford turn left onto Higher Lane and folow it uphill to Crank, Turn right at the Red Cat down Crank Rd.
Go past Fiarfield Hospital and over the littyle bridge and turn onto Sandy lane (marked as a bridle way, if it has been wet lately I suggest carrying on to Windle Island as this lane will be muddy) and into Moss Bank.
From there head down Scaefell rd, onto Washway Lane and then Haresfinch Road, College St, Central St, through Town and onto Peasley Cross Lane past the New Stadium!
