Well, the route itself is pretty good, however, Rhyl can be hazardous because of sand, and the daft route that goes though the sea front buildings, especially on a racing bike, be wary of other people loose dogs going from Prestatyn to Rhyl, although the route is pretty flat, there are some surprising mini hills, overall it's not bad, but be wary of tourists with there children and dogs.

One day the local councils will clear the glass on this route especially along the kinmal bay/Towyn section but I will not hold my breath!! Apart from that the route is very scenic and relatively flat, unless you incorprate the sychnant pass, all in all a good ride.
