| 1. Turn left out of Hairmyres on to Eaglesham road.
Travel straight over 2 round abouts and turn left at the next rounadbout on to Greenhills Road.
Travel along Green hills road going straight over all roundabouts for about 2 miles until you see Morrisons supermarket on your right.
The next roundabout after Morrisons take a right onto Shields Road/Auldhouse Road.
At first roundabout take 2nd left staying on Shields Road.
After you pass the new housing state on your right. There is a sign post for Jackton, go past this one and take the next road on the right (still Shields Road).
Stay on Sheilds Road leading to Millhouse Road until you come to a T-Junction.
At the T-Junction turn right.
Travel for 1 mile and your at Eaglesham.
Please note:this route is suitable for families, but you would probably want to start at Morrison's to avoid the short stretch on a busy road. |
