1. 5 quite hard climbs Some undulating terrain to the base of Holme Moss. The climb up Holme Moss is very hard but an excellent descent which can reach speeds of up to 50mph. More undulating climbing after a short section of main road ending in Glossop where there is a cyclist cafe. From there there is a long challenging ascent up the Snake Road. The descent is a bit undulating ending at Ladybower Dam. Another ascent to a left turn taking you onto the Strines. Short distance gets you to the Strines Inn which is a good place for refreshments. Follows is a series of tough short descents and hill climbs culminating in a very tough ascent. Some more undulating terrain takes you to Dunford Bridge and the car park.
