Landmarks/Sites to see?
The Grand Union Canal, Syon Park, River Thames, Richmond Park and many sights in Central London are all on the route. The route is relatively flat apart from a short climb when entering Richmond Park. There is a tea shop in Syon Park and there are plenty of refreshments available and a couple of bike shops in Twickenham. There are shops in Isleworth, Barnes and Putney and the possibilities are endless once in central London especially along the Kings Road, where there is also a cycle shop halfway. Portobello Road offers international cuisine (the market and Portobello Green are the best areas for eating).
