| 1. This is a road route, mainly on country lanes, but with small sections of A and B roads, with climbs.
Head south from Salisbury via Clarendon toward Downton. There is a lovely little 25% hill up to Frogham, its not long though. Head into the forest at South Gorley and follow the road towards Linwood. At the Stoney Cross junction take a left and head towards Nomansland. From there continue to head north, you will pass through Landford and Redlynch before coming back to Downton. Retrace the route back to Salisbury. There are loads of pubs on route and lots of road cyclists about if you need assistance. |
