| 1. Initially head towards Llangollen on the A539. Once in Llangollen pick up the A542, which is straight ahead past the train station on the left. Keep going all the way to the top of the Horseshoe Pass and stop for a break at the Pondarosa Cafe (you'll need one). After a break head out towards Ruthin, which is a downhill stretch where you can let gravity do the work. Once you get to the 1st crossroads take a right onto the A5104 towards Llandegla. At the next crossroads take a right onto the A525 and follow this through Bwlchgwyn, Coedpoeth and on to Wrexham. Once in Wrexham take a right onto Victoria Road East, A5152, and then right on the A5152 to the Rhostyllen roundabout. Cross the roundabout onto the B5605 to Johnstown and Ruabon. Pick up the A539 and head back to the start point. |
