| 1. This is a road route, on a mix of A, B and country roads.
Starting in Beeston, leave towards Chilwell, taking High Road, B6464. You then follow Bypass Road, A6005, to Long Eaton. The circle starts here, by staying on the A6005, past the bike shop through Breaston, Draycott and up to Borrowash. From here turn left onto the B5010, going over the Derwent River, past Elvaston Castle and through Elvaston. At the T junction turn left off the B5010 towards Thulvaston. follow the road through Thulvaston and Shardlow and on to the A50 roundabout. From here take the Tamworth Road, B6540, back over the M1, through Sawley, past the railway station and into Long Eaton. The circle is completed when you reach the A6005 roundabout. Turn right onto the A6005 and follow this and the B6464 back to Beeston. |
