Cycle Steps
1. This is a road route, on a mix of A, B and country roads. The route heads out of Bedworth, across the A444, on Newton Road/ Heath Road. It then turns right into Smorral Lane, heading for Corley Ash. In Corley Ash you turn right onto the B4098, Coventry Road, which you follow into Fillongley. At the crossroads in Fillongley turn left onto Meriden Road, B4102, and follow this under the M6 and across the A45 to the roundabout in Meriden. Go straight over the roundabout, staying on the B4102, Hampton Lane, and on till the A452 roundabout. At the roundabout turn left onto the A452, Kinilworth Road, and follow this through Balsall Common and on till the outskirts of Kenilworth. Turn right, off the A452 and onto Clinton Lane, B4103. Follow the B4103 to the A452 junction. Turn left onto the A452 and head into the centre of Kenilworth. Stop for a coffee and cake in Kenilworth (Starbucks, Costa and Castle Tea rooms) too much choice. Leave Kenilworth on the Coventry Road, A429, and follow this through Gibbet Hill, and across the A45, to the A4053 roundabout in Coventry. Head straight across the roundabout and onto Warwick Road, B4544. Take the first left into Greyfriars Road and follow this round to the right as it becomes Queen Victoria Road. Take a left onto Croft Road heading for a second A4053 roundabout. Go right at the roundabout heading onto the A4053 (Dual Carraigeway). Follow the A4053 till the roundabout and turn left onto Foleshill Road, B4113. Continue on the B4113 and take the left fork onto Lockhart Lane, B4118. Follow this across the railway lines and up the the roundabout. Turn left, off the B4118, and then right, at the mini roundabout, onto Holbrook Lane. Follow this to the T junction in Neal's Green. At the T junction turn right onto St Giles Road and follow this as it forks right and goes under the M6 and back up to Heath Road and Newtown Road across the A444 back into Bedworth.
