Cycle Steps
1. This is a flat road route, mainly on country roads around the outskirts of Nantwich. Follow the A543 into the centre of Nantwich then turn right at the A530 roundabout, off the A534 and onto Water Lode, A530. Follow this to the crossroads and turn left, off the A530 and onto Welsh Row. Go over the river and on till the fourth turn on the left. Turn left onto Queens Drive, heading for Ravensmoor, and follow the road as it bends right past Edleston and on till the crossroads in Ravensmoor. In Ravensmoor, turn left at the crossroads onto Sound Lane, heading towards Sound. Follow the road to the fork in the road, about 600m after crossing the railway bridge. At the fork, turn right and then right again onto Wrenbury Heath Road, heading towards, Wenbury Heath. Follow this over the railway bridge to the first turn off on the left. Turn left onto Woodcotthill Lane, heading towards Aston. Follow the road across the railway bridge, through Aston, across the A530 crossroads, and on towards Royals Green. Follow the road as it turns sharp left and then swings right and go on till the next turn off on the left. At the turn off, turn left onto Back Coole Lane, heading towards Audlem. Follow the road to the T junction. At the junction, turn left onto Coole Lane, heading towards Old Hall. Follow the road over the canal, through Old Hall, Hack Green and Old Hall Austerson, to the A530 T junction. At the junction turn right onto Shrewbridge Road, A530, and follow this over the river, sharp right onto Park Road and on till the T junction. At the junction turn left onto Wellington Road, still A530. Continue on till you cross the main railway line in Nantwich and arrive at the A534 roundabout. Turn right onto Station Road, A534 and follow the A534 back to the start point.
