Cycle Steps
1. Starting on Red Road (B311) take a left at the roundabout towards Deepcut. A gentle climb is rewarded by a nice downhill stretch most of the way to the T-junction where you make a left turn and go parallel with the railway on the Guildford Road (B3012). This is an excellent cycling stretch for the next mile. Fast downhill with easy corners and little traffic make this fun. Watch the right/left chicane under the railway though as it is really sharp and you will be coming at speed. Climb towards Pibright and take a right onto the A324 into the village. Go through the village and bear left at the roundabout onto the Guildford Road signposted Guildford and Fox Corner. At the Fox corner roundabout take first left and a brief climb on the A322 before taking a right into Berry Lane.Turn left onto Blackhorse Road (watch the left turn as it is quite sharp). Go under the railway and then a right onto the A324 (Hermitage Road). Straight at the roundabout and continue into Knaphill. Bear left at the lights and go onto the High Street. Cycle out of Knaphill and take a right at the lights onto the A322. Depending on the time of day and day of the week the A322 can be a bit busy, but the road is wide enough for overtaking without cramming you against the side. Follow the A322 through Bisley and the Gordon's School roundabout. Take first Left onto Red Road and enjoy flat/downhill, before climbing back to the finish. All in all a nice ~17 mile ride that has some nice fast downhill bits and doesn't involve too much climbing.
