Follow signs for East Horsley on the B2039 this place is mentioned in the Doomsday Book Stop for a pint and good food in The Duke of Wellington built in 1561. Architecture in this village is amazing. Tree lined route to Ockham which is great when you are cycling in 80 degrees F. You will pick up the A3 join this for about 100 metres and take Wisley Lane through Wisley onto Pyrford here you can stop for more food and beer at the Anchor Inn on the banks of the Basingstoke canal. So far all the roads are quiet and flat.At the end of Pyrford road turn right onto the A245 and head towards West Byfleet and Byfleet this road is quite busy and narrow and leads over the M25.Onwards to Cobham passing over the A3. Only managed 34.1 miles an hour going down the hill due to traffic. There is a 20mph speed limit in the park and lots of deer with spiky horns so be careful.Leave the park at the end of this road and turn into Danebury Ave keep cycling as it is a large housing estate so don't stop and talk to strangers.Cross over Roehampton Lane onto Putney Heath Rd, Turn right into Telegraph Rd stop at the Telegraph for more beer and food and borrow a bike lock from behind the bar for a small deposit.Go through the car cark and it will bring you out to Tibbets corner where you pick up the A3 leading into Wandsworth follow the gyratory system to Old York Rd.Take the cycle route over Trinity Rd up to Battersea Rise.Turn right into Northcote Rd towards the end turn left into Chatham Rd and you will find the Best Real Ale Pub in South West London.
