| 1. This route is mainly on quiet roads with only a few small climbs. Start at Tabley Rd (you can park there). Head away from Knutsford towards Tabley take care crossing the major road near J19 M6 and then your on quiet roads. After about 1 mile turn right on Budworth Rd. After a couple of miles turn right on Cann Lane. Follow this all the way to High Legh (theres a cafe in the garden centre if you need a break). At the give way turn left and immediately right and then right again. Your down hill for approx 1.5 miles turn right into Peacock Ln. Follow this to the Swan at Bucklow Hill. Go across the lights and take the left turn Cicely Mill Ln to Rostherne. Turn right at the give way through the village and take the left turn into Marsh Ln, follow this to the junction and turn right. Carry on on this road and turn left at the giveway to Ashley. Pass the station and turn right at the junc (the Greyhound pub is on your left for refreshments). Keep on this road for a few miles to Mobberley. Turn left (this rd can get busy so take care) for approx 0.5 miles and turn right onto Faulkners Ln, follow this to Ollerton. At the junc go straight over onto Seven Sister. At the junc turn right and 1st left to Peover Inferior. Turn right just after Smithy green towards Plumley. You will go over M6 and pass Peover Golf Course on your left, Turn left onto Pinfold Ln. Follow this road for app 2 miles and at the junc turn right towards Knutsford. At the RaB turn left and 1st left is back to Tabley Rd. |
