| 1. Similar route to a previously published one but without the nightmare muddy section. At the end of Wolds Lane, Wolvey, the bridleway goes left but the footpath continues straight on - legally you should take the bridleway but ? Choose a day when the wind is from roughly north and you will benefit from the fast downhill road section at Monks Kirby Lane and the paved bridlway at Hopsford Hall Farm. The canal tow path is a mixture of muddy and hard surfaces. Enjoy ! | |
