| 1. This is a slight extension to an earlier route that incorporates a good bridleway leg.
From the Greyhound, cross the first canal and pick up the Nuneaton - bound leg and continue along the canal for about 2k then exit right up steep slope to pick up the Bulkington Rd. Head through Bulko' and out to Wolvey. At the double roundabout in Wolvey, go straight across with the car showroom to your left, and continue down the road which becomes a farm track then bridleway. At the very end, negotiate the barriers, then continue with the hedge to your right for about 10m then take the gap and continue with the hedge to your left for about 300m to the paved road where you turn left and head up to the main Wolvey / Magna Park road. Turn right and cycle for about 1.5k until you reach the Wood Farm Brewery for a well deserved beer. Once sober, continue east bound for about 1.5k until you approach the sign for Willey, TURN RIGHT towards Newnham Fields Farm -big sign- then follow the bridleway signs. After about 600m, it's a little big guess work where the bridleway does so do your recce' first. Once in Monks Kirby, it's fairly plain sailing (pedaling) back to The Greyhound for another well deserved beer.
