| 1. Mostly flat, taking you through Elmdon park, just the one short steep incline here, road or path way down Damson Park way, turn into Lugtrout Lane, pleasant flat run, pick up cycle route on Catherine de- Barnes to the old Clock , over the bridge to the airport(wide pathways can be used), continue into airport but cut through back on to cycle lane to head towards Bickenhill lane & Marston Green, past the recreation ground, up to the memorial gardens take a left to the library, & Stop at "Ye Old Wine Lodge :)" turn left for a leisurely ride around the back road of Marston Green (Elmdon lane) to the pick up the trail to Sheldon country park, right near Marston Green train station. ride through the park, stop and marvel at the planes landing and taking off.. your on the home run now, through the park and into Sheldon’s back residential lanes to the start point, or the harvester if you can't quite make it right to the end :) |
