1. A circular route starting and ending at The Kings Arms Kingsteignton. Head west towards Teigngrace and then up and over to Liverton being very careful crossing the A382 at Forches Cross.Carry on towards Bovey Tracey after passing Liverton crossing the old Plymouth road. A long level stretch takes you to a nice downhill into Bovey Tracey where there are plenty of cafes and pubs for refreshments. Leaving Bovey Tracey you head East towards Chudleigh via Chudleigh Knighton. Turn off the Chudleigh road approximately a mile before the town and take the narrow lane which climbs up for a considerable distance before dropping down via Ugbrooke House and on to Ideford going under the A380 on the underpass. The Royal Oak at Ideford is a proper Devon country pub where you will find good ale and good food served every day. From Ideford you climb up towards but not quite to Luton where you pick up Humber Lane which gives you a long and exhilarating downhill back into Kingsteignton. After cycling through some residential areas you return to The Kings Arms, Just under 20 miles of mixed cycling but not for the feint hearted.
