| 1. Ride not for the faint hearted. The starts by the railway station in Bath and then up a long hill out through Bath with a short flat before yet another long step climb onto Radstock. Be carefull on the approach into radstock. Its a nice long downhill ride but beware of quing traffic that can suddenly appear after the sharp left hand bend. Once out of Radstock the jouney is very pleasant with hardly any cars all the way to Cheddar.
Glad to approach Cheddar from this direction as it all down hill, but beware there can be a lot of debris in the road from rock falls. If you want to travel at speed down into Cheddar then beware of oncoming traffic !
Once out of Cheddar then the road is fairly flat all the way into Weston however the wind appears to come from all directions here so it will be hard work. |
