|45km route that takes in two riverside paths, the Thames from Caversham to Mapledurham at the beginning before heading down to Sulham via Pangbourne.
Then three or four fairly easy climbs in the detour from Sulham through Stanford Bingley that provide for good cruising speed and nice opening-out views on the descents, before getting to Theale and joining the towpath along the Kennet for an at-times gravelly but gentle last ten km.
I stopped at the Cunning Man along the Kennet a couple of miles before Reading for a good pint. Follow the towpath signs back to Reading Oracle.

|Really enjoyable ride. A couple of the hills we found were a bit steep (we did get a bit lost though)Enjoyed the country side and the roads were not major roads, so vert quiet.|
