Completed this route weekend in August. Traffic fairly light overall. Frequently undulating with some fairly challenging ascents. Brilliant views of the Dales and also, en route to Tan Hill Inn, (UK's highest) looking back over the Lake District. Last 10 miles approx are, mercifully easy
