Cycle Steps
St Johns to Greenwich (Roads).

Greenwich to Thames Barrier (Thames Path),
Thames Barrier to Woolwich Road via path.

Turn left onto Woolwich Road for short distance following Cycle Route Signage to Thames Path and Woolwich Ferry (Roads).

Re-join Thames path and follow to Woolwich Ferry. Cross Thames on Woolwich Ferry (Free Crossing).

Once off the ferry follow road to T junction and turn left; road beds to the right before reaching another T-junction.

Turn left at T-junction onto Factory Road. At the end of Factory Road turn left and follow the cycle path (pavement) Continue to follow cycle route which runs parallel with North Woolwich Road
(pavement).

Continue to follow cycle route signs/path along lower lea crossing and heading towards Poplar.
Cycle path drops down to Blackwall Lane.

Continue to follow cycle signs until it reached the Preston Road (T-junction with traffic signals)
Turn left at the lights onto Preston Road and continue.

At mini roundabout, take the first turning onto Manchester Road and continue until you reach signs for which Island Gardens which will be on your left on the river.

At Island Gardens take the Greenwich Foot Tunnel under the Thames back to Greenwich.

SOUTH BANK - Cutty Sark, Greenwich, Royal Naval College

There are a few good little pubs as you go along the Thames Path through Greenwich; O2 Arena; Nature Conservation; Thames Barrier; Woolwich Ferry.

NORTH BANK - Not much until just after the Lower Lea Crossing; then there are one or two places to eat on the river. Mudchute Farm is just off Manchester Road. Greenwich Foot Tunnel.
