Cycle Steps
This is a good beginner road route, mainly on country roads, except for the start and finish which involves small stretches of A and B roads. There are a couple of hard climbs, but there are also stretches of flat, making it ideal for people looking for a small challenge or those looking for a mix of climbing and speed work.

I haven't cycled for some time but really enjoyed this run. I found it quite a tough cycle over the steeper sections from Sunnylaw to Sherrifmuir Inn but the rewards are there both in the views around Sherrifmuir and the run back down towards the University by Dumyat. And don't forget to stop for a wee half at the Inn. A great route if you're stuck for time. I've also cycled the route using the main road to Dunblane which adds a bit of length to the journey
