This is similar to a another Sutton to Abbots Bromley route posted on here, however, this route is more accurate in terms of miles covered and provides a safer route of passing under the M6 Toll and A38 towards the start of the route.

Furthermore, this description will be more clearer then the other routes description. Firstly, there are a umber of busy roads on the route.

The busiest are the road leading into and out of Kings Bromley (A513 & A515) and the roads that takes you into Lichfield (B5014 & A515). You'll need to take extra care on these roads, should you choose to do this route.

Furthermore, you'll pass through a village called Colton, there is a particularly steep hill that leads you out of Colton with a blind corner at the top, obviously extra care needs to be taken here. There are also plenty of hill roads along the way, which should be ok for seasoned road cyclists.

This route is demanding, even for non-beginners.
