Starting from the town centre then passing through Dundonald, Drybridge then crossing over the A78 on a footbridge on Shewalton road (dismount recommended), going through Loans then taking the road back towards Dundonald but this time instead of going through turn left up Dundonald hill and back to Troon.

Dundonald castle, Troon beach and great views of Troon and the Isle of Arran from the Dundonald hill decent.
