Cycle Steps
Out from Macclesfield via Handy Cross, along Gawsworth Road to Gawsworth. Cross the Congleton Road and after 100 yards, bear left on to Woodhouse End Road, towards the Fools Nook pub.

T turn right just before crossing the railway bridge in to Cowbrook Lane (watch out for the muck on the road and the pot holes on the short climb). At the top, turn right and travel a short distance along the Leek Road (A523), then turn right in to Bull Gate Ln. At the railway bridge bear sharp right in to Shellow Lane, and follow until a group of farm houses and bear left, again on to Pexall Rd.

At the next junction you have a choice. You can follow round to the right and head down to cross the Macclesfield Road (A536)straight on to Cocksmoss Lane, or bear right and down to the end and turn right in to Bank Lane. follow down to the Macclesfield Road (A536). Turn right and hack back a short distance and turn left in to Cocksmoss Lane.

This turns in to Cocksmoss Road, but follow to the end, and turn right on tot he Congleton Road (A34) for a few hundred yards, and turn right in to marton Hall Lane. After a short distance Bunce lane merges in from the right. Shortly after turn sharp right in to Messuage Lane. Follow to the cross roads, and straight across continuing on Messuage Ln.

Take the next right turn to link down to Congleton Road N, and follow to junction with Forty Acre Lane. Turn Right, and follow to the end where it meets the Chelford Road (A535). Turn left, then immediately right in to Twemlow Lane, then right immediatelyt again in to Goostry Lane. Follow in to Goostry and turn right down Church Bank.

Follow in to Boomish Lane, over the railway line, past the Jodrell Bank visitor centre (tea and cakes if required - if open) and along ot the junction with Holmes Chapel Road (A535). Turn right and hack along the short distance and tuen left in to Catchpenny Lane. Follow and turns in to Whitecroft Heath Rd. Bear left in to Whisterfield Lane.

At the end bear right on to Chelford Rd / Siddington Bank. At the top join on to Salters Lane (B5392), and travel the short distance up to the Congleton Rd (A34). Turn left and travel a short distance on the A34, then turn right in to Redesmere Ln. (More tea if cafe is open). Follow in to Fanshawe Ln, and on to School Ln. At the Chelford Road (A537) go straight over, and up Pepper St.

Turn left at the top, and along Church Lane, following the round round to the right in to Andertons Lane. At the end turn tight in to Whirley Road, and back to Brokewn Cross and Macclesfield
