Cycle Steps
This is a mixed route of roads, trails, bridleways and canal towpaths, so best suited to an off road bike.
From the start, head out the Chester Road, A5060, and follow the Trans Pennine Trail to Spike Island. Go over the Widnes bridge and pick up the canal at Runcorn, near the Express Way. Follow the canal to Preston Brook Marina, then take the Bridgewater to Daresbury labs. Come off the canal and follow Daresbury Lane, B5356, to Hatton. Pick up the bridleway at the rear of the Hatton Arms and head over to Hillcliff. You then go back down to the start point.
Landmarks/Pubs for lunch/Sites to see?
