Cycle Steps
From the Holloway Bank Canal Bridge head towards Great Bridge and take a left at Tame Valley Junction. Follow that around to the Oldbury Road Canal Bridge, where you will have to cross the bridge to get to the towpath on the other side of the canal. From there it's a good smooth run all the way to Coseley Tunnel, this route avoids going through there. Below are the directions for bypassing 330m of darkness.
Just before Coseley Tunnel you'll spot a dirt track bearing off the canal path. Follow that to a road called Central Drive and take a left. You'll come to an island, take the 4th left onto Green Street (B4483). Follow that road to another island and take the 2nd left onto Tunnel Street (B4483). Heading up Tunnel Street take the 2nd left onto Ivyhouse Lane and then your 1st right onto Henne Drive, look to your right and you'll see the path down to the canal.
From here it's a nice smooth ride into Wolverhampton.
