|Great ride - mostly flat and the hills are fairly moderate if you're reasonably fit.|
Lots to see enroute.
Suggest that at Eton, rather than following the towpath to Maidenhead (was super boggy in winter on my my skinny tyres), go up Eton Wick Road / Village Rd (B3026), turn left into Court Lane and check out Dorney Lake (2012 Olympic rowing venue).
On the way out of Court Lane turn left into Lake End Rd and after about 1000 ft turn left onto the Jubilee River tow path - excellent all year round surface. Follow this north to Bath Rd (A4) at Maidenhead, turn left and you're back on the route.
