Cycle Steps
Starting from the main town car park, the route takes you South towards the ancient hill fort named Maiden Castle.

This is followed by a leisuerly ride along the river course linking a number of hamlets named Winterbourne something or other.

A sign posted Left turn takes you up a steady climb past Hardy's Monument with spectacular views over Weymouth Bay, Portland, Chesil Beach.

Next we loop back down the hill Northwards and return more or less by the same route. A variation at the end takes us into Dorchester by a more direct but busier road.
